After gaining experience, he reached the top position of the company. In the year 1991, he took over as the Chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Group. After this, he led the company for 21 years and helped the company reach many heights.
During Ratan Tata’s tenure as Chairman, Tata Group had taken over Tetley Tea, Jaguar Land Rover and Corus. Apart from this, Tata Group’s business extends to more than 100 countries.
